A & T: personalised wedding matchboxes with initials, a date and one motif
One real celebration from the studio, seen through its smallest paper detail.
What is on the box
A & T married at Tonnara di Scopello in Sicily on 29 June 2026, and their boxes play one game across several covers: a heart carved with A + T and an arrow above the name of the venue, an ace of hearts with Sicily and the date, and a match drawn on its own. Their names run round the drawers in handwriting.
Everything was drawn at matchbox size, about 55 × 36 mm, in black line with one red heart, so it reads clearly in candlelight and on a white tablecloth.
Why it works
One idea, playing cards and a match, carried across every cover. Each box holds very little: initials, a place or a date, and one drawing. Nothing competes, so it reads at a glance from across the table, and the different covers give the table a little play.
Several designs in one order are set up and printed as separate runs, so the studio quotes them. One design across all the boxes is ordered online at the usual price.
Borrow the idea, make it yours
A personal motif can start from your invitation, a shared phrase, your venue or a small drawing. We look at the wording and the artwork together, rather than treating the box as a place for names alone.
A drawing by the studio is one fee of £100, whatever the subject, with revisions until it is right. When you send your brief, include the spelling of the names, your date, the quantity and the delivery address. Most couples order about one box per guest, often 100 to 150.
