In their words
Kept notes
Reviews left by people whose celebrations we drew for. Shortened only where they ran long, never reworded.
I couldn’t be happier with my order. The matches arrived and they are absolutely stunning, truly beyond my expectations. Every detail has clearly been considered with great care, including the packaging, which was extremely refined and beautifully presented. The entire process was smooth from start to finish, with excellent communication and genuine care for both the product and the customer.
I was initially skeptical, but I was extremely pleased with my personalised matchboxes. They are gorgeous, exactly as I imagined. The customer service was extraordinary. They assisted me from the moment of purchase to delivery and were completely available for my every need. These will be that extra touch at my wedding.
The design is beautiful and customisable, and the service was very quick, concise and clear. I think it is a great idea for an event or wedding, as was the case for me.
The illustrator

A few questions
How far ahead should we begin?
Dispatch is around three weeks after you approve the artwork, and the drawing takes a little time before that. Six weeks before your date is comfortable. If yours is sooner, tell us anyway and we will say honestly what is possible.
Will we see the design before it is printed?
Always. Nothing is printed until you have seen a digital proof and told us it is right. Revisions are part of the commission, not an extra.
How many should we order?
Twenty-five is the smallest commission. Most celebrations settle between one hundred and one hundred and fifty, which usually means one box per guest with a few kept back.
Can a piece be made entirely to our own specification?
Yes. Beyond the standard 55 × 36 mm matchbox, the studio makes matchbooks and large or sculptural formats to measure, with the paper, colour and construction chosen for your house. Each is drawn and quoted on its own.
Do you offer foil, embossing, debossing or letterpress?
We do. Gold, silver and coloured foils, blind embossing and debossing, and letterpress can be added to most pieces. We will say which finish suits the artwork and the paper, and include it in your proposal.
Can you take a larger order for a company, a hotel or a brand?
Yes. Orders from two hundred and fifty to many thousands are quoted for the brief, with repeat runs held to the approved artwork. Where discretion matters, an NDA is signed before the first sketch.
Do you send outside the United Kingdom?
We post to thirty-eight countries. Worldwide delivery and standard customs charges are included in the price you see, and tracking is sent the day your parcel leaves the studio.
