An entirely bespoke matchbox, made in the scale, surface and colour your setting asks for. The familiar twelve centimetre format is only a starting point; linen, paper, wood and ceramic finishes are considered around the design, and the match tips are colour matched.

No two commissions begin in the same place. We can draw your venue, build a monogram, translate an existing identity or create a complete visual direction around the room and occasion.
The familiar twelve centimetre format is only a starting point. Scale and proportion can be made to order, with linen, paper, wood and ceramic finishes considered around the design.
Match-tip colours, artwork and surface are composed together. A digital proof is refined with you as often as needed, and production begins only when it feels right.
How it works
- Send your rough quantity, your idea and your date. No payment is taken now.
- The studio replies by email with a quote and the clearest route to your date.
- The artwork is drawn and a digital proof is sent. You ask for changes until it is right.
- Nothing is made before your approval. Your production and dispatch window is confirmed before work begins.
- Your parcel is sent with tracking by DHL, UPS or FedEx.
Delivery and returns
Delivery is included in every quote. We send worldwide from London with tracking by DHL, UPS or FedEx. In the UK the parcel is delivered to your door; outside the UK any customs duties or import taxes are paid by the recipient.
Because each piece is made for you alone, personalised orders cannot usually be returned. That does not affect your legal rights if a piece arrives faulty, damaged or different from the artwork you approved: write to info@laldie.com with a photograph and we will put it right.

Why is there no fixed price?
Each large matchbox is made to its own size, surface and quantity, so every project is quoted. £12 a box is where prices start.
What happens after I ask for a quote?
The studio replies by email with a quote and the clearest route to your date. No payment is taken when you ask.
Can it be made for a close date?
Rush orders are considered around studio capacity. Share your date, quantity and setting and we will reply with the clearest route.
Do you send outside the United Kingdom?
Yes, we deliver worldwide from London, with tracking by DHL, UPS or FedEx. Delivery is included; outside the UK any customs duties or import taxes are paid by the recipient.
